First I had to convert the image of the minster to a bitmap image in photoshop, this is the only way to screen print an image, it was a quick process and the halftone was exactly right as the paint didn't bulk together when in the process of screen printing.
Using a blue ink on pastel stocks gives a contrast of colours and helps the prints to stand out more as well as creating a sense of individuality.
The prints are very basic at the moment, and would like to experiment and develop them further with layers of image and coloured inks.
